I am looking for a personal support worker job in Cobourg or in Port Hope area. I am moving by August 2018 and i would like to get a job before i move in.
I am Currently working in a retirement home in one of the building of Bay crest in Toronto for a private epderly woman. As a successful Nurse Aide/Caregiver in the country of Israel and previously a child care provider in North York, Ontario. A Personal Support Worker for elderly care and from my PSW training at L’Chaim Retirement Home,and as a previous psw worker at VHA home health care, I have learned much valuable information regarding how to provide the best combination at home care and retirement homes. I have assisted clients with their activities for daily living and helping them maintain independence and dignity. My responsibilities include: providing in-residence personal care, administering medicine as doctors prescribed, providing excellent personal care/hygiene, companionship, assisting to their activities and doctors appointment, transferring from wheelchair to bed/bed to wheelchair,know how to use a Hoyer lift, cooking and serving nutritious meals, feeding if necessarily, light housekeeping, laundry. I also make sure to routinely check their vital signs. I have a lot of energy, I am a hard worker and feel easy to assist client during sitting, standing, walking, and kneeling.
I am very organized, friendly and have a passion to taking care of any ages. With my proven history of success working with elderly care/Child care or any ages, I would be the ideal candidate for the personal Support Worker position.
